Launched by the European Blues Union in 2011, the European Blues Challenge is regarded by many as the most important music event in the Blues scene. The best bands from twenty-one European states showcase their talent to the  public and compete to be the winner of the sixth edition. The 2016  European Blues Challenge was hosted for the first time in Italy, in the village of Torrita di Siena, located in the heart of beautiful Tuscany.
